Youth Pastor: Michael Pigg
Michael was born and raised in the West Texas town of Levelland. He felt the call to ministry at the age of 19 and shortly after marrying his sweetheart Shelly Gray in 1997 they moved to Bethany Oklahoma to finish out their education at Southern Nazarene University. Michael completed a multi-disciplinary degree in education and religion and Shelly earned her masters in communications before being called to Snyder, Texas. Michael served as a pastor in Snyder until he answered a call to youth ministry in Borger, Texas where he served for six years before coming to Orange in February of 2010.
Michael and Shelly have three children (Maggie, Jonah and Judah) and enjoy serving the Lord in the areas of youth ministry and compassionate ministries.
Michael's life and ministry are being shaped by his understanding of 1 Corinthians 1:18
" For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God."
